Our VFRs.

We have two VFRs in the family, a 1989 VFR750FJ and a 1987 VFR400RH (NC24)

After Bill passed the IAM Advanced Motorcycling Test following tuition from Edinburgh & District Advanced Motorcyclists in 1994 the VFR750 replaced an elderly CX500. The VFR750 was chosen for its reputation as a sports/tourer and as the world's best all-round bike.

After Ewen passed the IAM Advanced Motorcycling Test (the youngest ever IAM test pass in Edinburgh & District Advanced Motorcyclists) in 1998 a VFR400 replaced a CB400/4.

The  VFR400 was purchased as a best compromise on price/performance available.

Both bikes have proved very reliable and have been great fun on the roads of Scotland and Northern England.

The VFR750 has now done nearly 60,000 miles while the VFR400 after doing only 4000 miles in Japan has clocked up over 16,000 miles since being imported.

We have recently added a special edition VFR800 which was produced by Honda to celebrate their  50th Anniversary.
